The moment of food in phloem takes place by utilising energy the sugar made in leaves is loaded into sieve tubes by ATP energy water now enters into sieve tubes through osmosis the high pressure produced in phloem tissues move the food to all plant parts having less pressure in the tissues this allows the following to translocate food according to the needs of plant parts
