Halstead- Reitan Neuropsychological Test Battery (HRNB)

Age: 15+; assesses brain & nervous system functioning; evaluates a variety of types of brain function and can be helpful in pinpointing brain injuries and affected areas

Luria-Nebraska Neurological Battery (LNNB)

Age: 13+; screens clients with neurological impairments; evaluates learning, experience, & cognitive skills; used to diagnose & determine the nature of cognitive impairment, including the location of brain damage

Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE)

Age: adults; measures cognitive impairment; often used to screen for dementia; test orientation, attention, calculation, recall, language, and motor skills

Age: 8+; assesses visual perception, memory, & spatial abilities; useful in diagnosis of brain damage, ADHD, Alzheimer’s, and other types of dementia
