avoidant personality disorderpervasive pattern of social inhibition, inadequacy, hypersensitivity to negative evaluation, 4 criteria met (avoids activities that involve interpersonal contact, unwilling to be involved with others without being certain they're liked, shows restraint in intimacy, preoccupied with criticism and rejection, inhibited in new interpersonal situations, views self as socially inept, unwilling to take personal risks for fear of embarassment)
Dependant personality disorderpervasive and excessive need to be taken care of, 5 criteria (difficulty making everyday decisions without lots of advice, needs others to assume responsibility for their life, difficulty expressing disagreement with others, difficulty initiating projects or doing things alone, goes to excessive lengths to obtain nurturance and support, feels uncomfy/helpless when alone, urgently seeks relationships when other ones end, unrealistically preoccupied with fears of being left alone)
