Resolution/resolving power | The extent to which image
detail is preserved |
Contrast | The ability of an image to stand out against its
background |
Working Distance | Distance between objective & slide on stage |
Field of view/diameter
of field | Increase the magnification you decrease the field
of view. |
Parfocal | When you change lenses (to a higher or lower power) the image will always remain in focus. |
Parcentral | When you switch objectives lenses the image will stay in the center of your field of view. |
